WE420 is the top level product in the WEB-Engine range.
A flexible, high performance solution for remote control of electrical appliances.
All wireless connectivity features needed in industrial, home, M2M remote control and telemetry applications are available.
WE420 is:
- a GPRS datalogger
- a Dual Band GSM/GPRS modem
- an SMS based wireless remote control system
- an embedded HTTP/WEB server
Industrial automation systems can have great benefits from Internet technology and networking,
opening new scenarios in remote control and diagnostic applications. Through embedded WEB servers
industrial plants and machinery can be accessed from any web browser and from any place in the world.
The user can control the target device using:
- a PC connected to Internet and a standard WEB browser
- a standard mobile phone using SMS messages or a microbrowser
- an HTTP/WEB portal, for all kinds of applications that
require heavy data exchange through GPRS
WE420 is a plug & play solution to provide wireless connectivity and remote management capabilities to M2M (machine to machine)
applications and industrial automation systems. It is equipped with a standard RS232 and a RS485 serial port and several I/O lines
(digital and analog) for direct connection to/from the field.
WE420 can send e-mails and SMSs when an alarm is activated or if a particular event requires to be notified.
